Research & Development

Trial capacity

Plastic waste is complex. It can contain levels of contaminants, like chlorides and oxygen that cause severe problems when ending up in the equipment of the plastic producer downstream.

The Fuenix Feedstock Assessment Team – a multidisciplinary group of experts, is continuously evaluating various plastic waste streams from the market. They determine the suitability of these materials for the process or identify the necessary preparation or purification steps to make them viable.

Fuenix Line 1, with a processing capacity of 4 kilotons per year, is particularly well-suited for research and development trials. We offer available capacity for trial runs with specific waste streams.

R&D programms with diaper plastics, UHMWPE, building & construction waste and agrifilm were executed already.
